Funds Availability Disclosure

Introduction

This Funds Availability Disclosure explains our policy regarding the availability of funds

deposited into accounts held with CIVYL Financial (“CIVYL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Please

read it carefully and retain a copy for your records.


1. Your Ability to Withdraw Funds

When you deposit funds into your account, the availability of those funds depends on the type of

deposit and how the deposit is made. Our general policy is to make funds available to you as

quickly as possible, but certain types of deposits may require additional processing time.


2. Electronic Direct Deposits

Funds from electronic direct deposits, such as payroll, government benefits, or ACH transfers,

are available on the same business day the deposit is received and settled.


3. Mobile Check Deposits

(If applicable and offered)

Funds from mobile check deposits are generally available within 1–3 business days, but may be

subject to review for fraud prevention and regulatory compliance. We may delay availability if:

• A check is over a certain dollar threshold,

• You’re a new customer,

• We suspect suspicious activity,

• Or the deposit is made on a weekend or holiday.


You will be notified if a hold is placed on your deposit and when funds will become available.


4. Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Transfers

Funds sent via third-party services (e.g., Venmo, CashApp, etc.) or internal transfers between

CIVYL users may post immediately or be subject to review depending on the payment method

used and fraud detection protocols.


5. Delayed Availability Situations

We may delay the availability of funds in certain situations, including but not limited to:

• Newly opened accounts (first 30 days),

• Large deposits over $5,000,

• Frequent overdrafts,

• Suspected fraud,

• Emergency or service interruptions.


In these cases, funds may be held for up to 7 business days. We will notify you if extended holds

are placed.


6. Cut-Off Times

Deposits received after 5:00 PM Eastern Time may be considered received on the next business

day. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.


7. Instant Transfers / Early Direct Deposit

We may offer features like Early Direct Deposit or instant ACH posting through our partner

banks or BaaS provider. Eligibility and availability may vary depending on deposit origin and

settlement speed.


8. Regulation E (Electronic Transfers)

For transfers and deposits governed under Regulation E (12 CFR § 1005), you are protected

against unauthorized electronic fund transfers. You must report any unauthorized activity within

60 days of your statement date.
